A small operation with a practical purpose
Northspan began in Edmonton in 2017 as an administrative contact service for local home-service businesses. The work was straightforward: answer routine questions, record the request properly and make sure it reached the person who could act.
That remains the focus. We support defined office tasks rather than taking over the decisions that belong to a client's service team.

How our team works
Customer Service Assistants handle phone and email enquiries using approved information. Their work includes case notes, callback tracking and basic spreadsheet updates. A designated lead supports questions and reviews handovers.
New assignments begin with a walkthrough of the client's contact guide. Feedback focuses on accurate records, appropriate routing and clear communication with the customer.
What we value in the work
Useful notes beat long notes. A clear limit beats an uncertain promise. An enquiry should leave the next person knowing what happened and what to do next.
These principles suit small teams, where the person receiving a handover may also be scheduling jobs or dealing with a busy office.
